Diagnostic Radiology

Diagnostic radiology includes a broad range of imaging methods to evaluate the body for possible injury, disease or dysfunction. Techniques such a x-ray, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, duplex, mammography, nuclear medicine, computed tomography, and magnetic resonance imaging are utilized. Our experts, by using state-of-the-art equipment at our practice facilities, are able to offer our patients the highest quality in diagnostic imaging.

A diagnostic radiologist has received four to five years of specialized imaging training after medical school. In addition, most of our physicians have undergone additional fellowship training in specialized areas of imaging. These include specialties in musculoskeletal imaging, mammography, neuroradiology, nuclear medicine, magnetic resonance imaging, as well as general body imaging. The diagnostic radiologists of Radiology, Inc. are all Board certified by the American Board of Radiology. They are all members of the American College of Radiology and the Radiologic Society of North America.

Cutting edge techniques, such as shoulder magnetic resonance arthrography, stereotactically guided breast biopsy, radioactive iodine thyroid therapy, and cardiovascular MR and CT angiography are offered by our subspecialists.
